Major Awards and Honors

More than $2 million in scholarships for 2005 graduates. Six AP scholars named by the College Board. Academic Decathlon placed third in 2005 districtwide competition. DECA place first in national competition with their Civil Consciousness Project presenting the Plaza del Sol. Boys varsity soccer team was undefeated in district play; the 2005 District Champions made it two rounds deep in the state play-offs. Sunset also boasts the district's Cross Country Champion and the tennis star/District Champion who subsequently played in the National Oahu, Hawaii, Tennis Tournament.
