Programs and Activities
Special programs:
FAMILY NIGHT is held every year in the fall and spring. Parents accompany their children for an evening of hands-on activities that review TEKS-based objectives relevant to their grade level. Parents and students move from classroom to classroom enjoying the challenging activities. The evening ends with a family dinner in our cafeteria. Past themes have included Circus Circus and Wild Wild West!
.... AFRICAN AMERICAN HISTORY MONTH and CINCO DE MAYO observances are recognized and honored. For each, we spend a week celebrating through daily P.A. quizzes for students and staff highlighting famous people or accomplishments, special bulletin boards, school assemblies, speakers, native dance ensemble programs. and food celebrations.
