Major Awards and Honors

From a Low Performing school in 2002-2003 to a Recognized school in 2003-2004 and 2004-2005

Benjamin Harris Macon moved to Dallas in 1925 and became superintendent of the Pleasant Grove School in 1928. Macon retired as superintendent of the Pleasant Grove School on Sept. 1, 1946. He passed away on Nov. 16, 1954, leaving a rich heritage to a host of friends he left behind.
