Major Awards and Honors

For the 2004-2005 school year, North Dallas High School is very proud of the 192 seniors who earned a total of $3.72 million in merit-based scholarship awards toward post-secondary education. A North Dallas student was the only DISD student chosen to shadow Mayor Laura Miller for a day.The math team placed in the district Math Olympiad. Current and former students winning an essay competition won a trip to England sponsored by the British American Business Council. A senior won the district chess tournament and was awarded a significant scholarship to a local university.
