"A TV show for Dallas ISD, by Dallas ISD"
Welcome to the School Zone Dallas website, home of the 30-minute television program produced by Dallas Schools Television. Originating from a different featured school each time and hosted by Dallas ISD students, School Zone Dallas aims to focus the spotlight on the many shining stars of the Dallas ISD --outstanding teachers, students, and schools.

The student-hosted television program School Zone Dallas is the first television show produced by a Texas school district to win an Emmy. School Zone Dallas has already reached more than two million viewers by airing on WFAA-TV, KUVN-Univision-23 and KERA Public Television. In February 2005, School Zone Dallas received the prestigious Platinum Award from the Texas School Public Relations Association. This award recognizes the research, planning, implementation and evaluation of all things related to the production of School Zone Dallas.

Thanks to the generosity of the John Eagle Family of Dealerships, School Zone Dallas will air three times on WFAA-Television, the ABC affiliate in Dallas, immediately following the 6 p.m. news.

School Zone Dallas is also produced in Spanish. Zona Escolar de Dallas has its own cast of students and airs through a unique partnership with Univision-KUVN-Channel 23.

School Zone Dallas can also be seen each Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. on Dallas Time Warner Cable Channel 98 digital.

**Thanks again to everyone at John Eagle for making this possible**
