School Zone Dallas is looking for talented student co-hosts and reporters for a 30-minute TV show taped on location, at schools throughout the district, during the 2008-2009 school year. School Zone Dallas focuses on the unique people and special programs found in Dallas ISD.

Requirements

Students must be a junior or senior in a Dallas ISD school during the 2008-2009 school year.

Auditions will be held Saturday, March 29, 2008 at the Dallas ISD Main Administration building 3700 Ross Avenue, Dallas, TX 75204, in room 103.

Students must have and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or above.

Interested students must call Irene Hernandez at 972-925-3103 to schedule an audition no later than 4:30pm on Wednesday, March 26, 2008.

Students must have access to their own transportation.

NO LATE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Students must be poised and comfortable on camera or on stage and possess excellent memorization skills.

At the audition on March 29, students must provide a resume that includes name, address, phone number/s,
e-mail address, grade level and any additional information you think will aid the selection committee, along with three letters of recommendation of which one must be from your principal or teacher.

Students must be able to perform under pressure.
