The Dallas Independent School District’s Vision Program has primary responsibility for specialized instruction, materials and services required to meet the unique educational needs of visually impaired students.

Texas State School for the Blind	A source for information on eye conditions and programs offered for blind and visually impaired students.
Region 10 Educational Service Center - VI	A source for information on Expanded Core Curriculum events during the school year and workshops for teachers and parents who work with blind and visually impaired students.
Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services	A state agency that works with visually impaired students and adults
