Every year each of the Dallas ISD schools selects its campus-level Teacher of the Year and Teacher Assistant of the Year. In addition, all schools are eligible to submit these names for consideration in the selection of the district-level Teacher of the Year and Teacher Assistant of the Year. The Teacher and Teacher Assistant of the Year are selected based on their ability to inspire a love of learning in students of all backgrounds and levels of ability.
