All good things must come to an end...  These words have crossed my mind more than one time this week as I have begun the transition to my new role as an Executive Director.  I have laughed, cried, and been constantly reminded of the magic that is Booker T.  As we look forward to the spring semester, please be assured I will stay connected and involved at Booker T. in many ways.  I will still be working closely with the interim principal (once that person is appointed) as well as assisting with auditions, selection, budget, scheduling, community partnerships and more.  While my day to day life will be in the Thomas Jefferson Feeder Pattern schools, I will still be seen here on campus as needed.   Also, I am very excited that the district has asked me to still assist with the planning of graduation and to be on stage with the Class of 2013 at this special event.  As I have begun to meet the Thomas Jefferson Feeder Pattern principals and stakeholders, I am looking forward to my new roles and responsibilities.  I am hoping to share some of the "Booker T magic" with even more schools and students.  While my scenery is changing, (they cannot get rid of me quite that easily!), instead of "goodbye" - I prefer to say - "until we meet again!"
