March is National Nutrition Month
“Let thy food be thy medicine,” said Hippocrates (a long, long time
ago), but the sentiment still rings true. National
Nutrition Month, celebrated in March, stresses the importance of a balanced diet and exercise.
As part of the Benefits Department’s wellness program, a library of information and resources has been compiled focusing on the importance of nutrition and healthy eating, heart health and cholesterol, and resources on diabetes and exercise.
