    Sonia Loskot was appointed as Principal of David G. Burnet Elementary in Dallas ISD in 2014 after serving in many capacities since 2002.  In 2015-2017, Loskot and her team were accepted in Teaching Trust Executive Ed. Program leading strong systems on cultural, instructional, data-driven and team effectiveness and 2016-2018 Principal Impact Collaborative implementing Human Center Design Process.  This year, 2019-2020 she is a Cahn Fellow for Distinguished Principals at Columbia University where she is conducting action research on trauma and equity.  The school has been a recipient of OutTeach Garden, Leader in Me School, STEM, Children's Health School-Based Telehealth Program, 2018 and 2019 Gold Ribbon in North Texas. Loskot grew up in Belize, received her BBA from Valdosta State University in Georgia and MEDL from Texas Woman's University.  She was awarded 2017 "Principal of the Year" Feeder Patter Winner, 2019 "Principal of the Year" Finalist and 2018 and 2019 Master Principal.  Serving on advisory teams, education boards, and task-forces in partnership organizations, Loskot strives for the whole child and to empower everyone through social and emotional concentration that supports an equitable well-rounded education.

    Ms. Shirley Dolph



    Shirley Dolph was born and raised in San Antonio, Tx. where she attended public school.
    She attended Howard Payne University where she earned her BS degree in Elementary Education. Then she attended The University of Texas in San Antonio, Tx. where she earned a Masters in Bilingual/Bicultural studies. Her Principal certification was earned through Texas Woman's University in Denton, Tx.  The Superintendent certification coursework was through Angelo State University and the Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies was just recently received at Southern Methodist University here in Dallas. She continues to pursue her passion of learning and is presently working on her Doctor of Liberal Studies degree.
    Shirley Dolph has served at David G. Burnet Elementary for fifteen years and considers this her second home and the staff and students her second family.
    Her desire is to see all students reach their full potential and discover how much value they can add to this world and this starts with their education.
