At the STAAR Pep Rally, Principal Rivera was awarded the William H. Cotton Scholarship from The Credit Union of Texas worth $20,000. It was powerful for the students to see this great accomplishment. The scholarship will help Mr. Rivera pay for the rest of his doctoral studies at SMU. We are proud of the dedication Mr. Rivera puts towards continuing his education. He is an excellent role model for our Mavericks!
