• 14 hours of Professional Development outside of regular working hours to be completed by December 21st, 2017

*Returning teachers can complete this requirement during summer institute or through any other PD outside or regular working hours. If professional development is outside of the district it will require campus administrator's approval to count towards the 14-hour requirement.

During the month of January 2018, all teachers who have not completed the required 14 hours of professional development will be subject to have their PTO balance decreased by the number of hours in which PD was not completed by December 21st, 2017.

*New teachers who attended New Teacher Academy completed the 14 hours on August 14 and 15.

For teachers hired after the New Teacher Academy, the following requirements will satisfy the 14 P2LD hours required.  These hours must be completed by March 9, 2018.

Academic Rigor I Session (virtual) - 3.5 hours (register / eLearning session)
Content session of your choice (virtual OR workshop) - 3.5 hours
Any other session of your choice (virtual or workshop)  - 7 hours
