Mrs. Johnna Weaver
Johnna Weaver joined Lincoln High School and Humanities/Communications Magnet & Early College in 2016, following five years as the Principal of Harold W. Lang Middle School in Dallas Independent School District. Her career began at Fred F. Florence Middle School, where she taught 7th and 8th-grade social studies. She served as department chair, head girls basketball and softball coach, and mentor teacher. She also taught history for five years at Lincoln High School, where she now serves proudly as the instructional leader.
Mrs. Weaver grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, and attended school in the Fort Worth Independent School District, graduating from Western Hills High School. She received her undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University, Lubbock. She earned her master’s degree in Educational Administration from the University of North Texas in 2008. She is married to Michael Weaver and they have three children, Brittani, Cheryl Kaye, and Morgan.
Mrs. Weaver views a collaborative school environment as the key to creating successful teachers and students. She believes partnerships with parents and community partners are essential to enriching the experience at Lincoln High School. During her free time, Mrs. Weaver enjoys reading, movies, social media, and spending time with family and friends.
