About Dr. Lamecia Rhodes
Dr. Lamecia Rhodes was born and raised in Fort Worth and joined Dallas ISD in 2002. She has served DISD in a range of roles, from teacher to her current position as the principal at IGNITE Middle School. Dr. Rhodes prides herself on her passion and ability to help students and teachers reach their fullest potential. She is a leader who values strong and lasting relationships and maintains a steadfast commitment to quality instruction for all students! She believes we are all charged with making a difference in the lives of children and that we can do this by supporting a collaborative school culture where faculty, staff, parents, students, and all other stakeholders have a voice in the shared responsibility of creating a common vision built on the foundation of shared values. She is excited to about helping scholars ignite their superpowers and soar to new levels.

About Mr. Miguel Maymi
I have been in education for over 10 years and have served various scholars. My journey in education began with a foundational view that all scholars matter and deserve the absolute best education because they are the change agents of our future. I choose Dallas ISD because of our commitment to ensure equity and excellence for ALL scholars.
I taught theatre in a high school and middle school classroom for 7 years before transitioning to campus leadership. In that time, my interdisciplinary approach pushed my scholars to national recognition, and 100% of scholars choosing a career in the arts earning scholarships to pay for part or all of college. I served as a district facilitator for professional development and curriculum in theatre, expanding that access district-wide. The 2023-2024 school year marks my 4th year as an Assistant Principal at IGNITE Middle School. I am so proud and excited to be a member of this team and community and can't wait to partner with all of you to make this the best at IGNITE!

About Dee Molnar
"Frau" Dee has worked in the education field for 30 years in a variety of ways. From working as a child development specialist with the U.S. Air Force's Early Childhood programs in Germany to high school German and Social Studies classrooms, she has experience across a broad range of ages as well as populations of students. "Frau" Dee now serves as the Campus Coordinator at IGNITE Middle School, working to support the students, teachers, families, and community as she manages a large variety of the school's operational needs and events. She is a proud member of #TeamIGNITE and can't wait to get the 2023-24 school year started and continue to support and serve all of the IGNITE community.
