Meet Our Principal - Linda Kraztert

Welcome Back SMCLA Wolfpack Families,

I am so excited to welcome you back to SMCLA for the 2023-2024 school year! We are excited to begin this school year with our theme “4 Houses, 1 CREW!” This year, each student in grades 1^st-5^th will be sorted in 4 Houses; Altruismo, Amistad, Isibindi, Reveur. Each house represents a moral that represents our CREW! Our staff has chosen their Houses and will be leading our students through this journey. The students will remain in their House until they leave us and transition to Middle School as they work together with their House to earn points to win the Championship Trophy at the end of the year. Students will be learning how to work together in teams, what it means to be a CREW/House, and building relationships with students across ALL Grade Levels and Staff.

We can’t wait to engage our parents and families in volunteer opportunities, community outreach, and community events throughout the school year. We look forward to hosting events in which are fun for all families, supportive of the community and businesses, and brings the joy and spirit of Pleasant Grove out!

We are excited to welcome everyone back to campus, ready to welcome everyone into the rich-filled classrooms of learning, and thrilled to see the smiles we have missed so much!

Bienvenidos de nuevo a las familias de SMCLA Wolfpack,

¡Estoy muy emocionada de darle la bienvenida nuevamente a SMCLA para el año escolar 2023-2024! Estamos emocionados de comenzar este año escolar con nuestro tema "¡4 Casas, 1 EQUIPO!" Este año, cada estudiante en los grados 1 a 5 será clasificado en 4 Casas; Altruismo, Amistad, Isibindi, Reveur. ¡Cada casa representa una moraleja que representa a nuestra TRIPULACIÓN! Nuestro personal ha elegido sus Casas y guiará a nuestros estudiantes a través de este viaje. Los estudiantes permanecerán en su Casa hasta que nos dejen y hagan la transición a la Escuela Intermedia mientras trabajan junto con su Casa para ganar puntos para ganar el Trofeo del Campeonato al final del año. Los estudiantes aprenderán cómo trabajar juntos en equipos, lo que significa ser un EQUIPO/Casa y construir relaciones con estudiantes en TODOS los niveles de grado y personal.

 Estamos ansiosos por involucrar a nuestros padres y familias en oportunidades de voluntariado, alcance comunitario y eventos comunitarios durante todo el año escolar. ¡Esperamos organizar eventos que sean divertidos para todas las familias, que apoyen a la comunidad y las empresas, y que traigan la alegría y el espíritu de Pleasant Grove!

¡Estamos emocionados de darles la bienvenida a todos de regreso al campus, listos para darles la bienvenida a todos a las ricas aulas de aprendizaje y emocionados de ver las sonrisas que tanto hemos extrañado!
