    VPA Welcome

  • Welcome to the Visual and Performing Arts Deparment! Thank you for visiting us.

Former US Secretary of Education, William Bennet, writes, “The arts are an essential element of education, just like reading, writing and arithmetic... music, dance, painting and theater are all keys that unlock profound human understanding and accomplishment”.

The Visual and Performing Arts Department of Dallas ISD proudly serves more than 150,000 students in the disciplines of dance, music, theatre and visual art. We are honored to serve and be a part of the communities.
