  • Reanna Wilborn has been an educator for 15 years and is about to begin her 11th year in Dallas ISD as the Principal of Ben Milam Elementary. Her extensive experience includes serving as an Assistant Principal for three years at a PreK-8th two-way dual language campus, in addition to teaching middle school in Dallas ISD and high school in New York City.

Ms. Wilborn graduated from Columbia University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and from Southern Methodist University with a master’s degree in Educational Leadership. She has contributed as a Personalized Learning curriculum writer for Summit Learning and has been accepted into both the Dallas LEAD and Teaching Trust Aspiring Leaders programs. She has served on various boards, partnerships, and educational consulting groups, including The Educator Collective and the Principal Impact Collaborative.

This year, Ms. Wilborn aims to continue Dallas ISD’s mission of educating all students for success by refining the campus’s implementation of district-wide curricula and ensuring that all Ben Milam students are "Leveling Up" as leaders of their own learning through high-quality instructional practices, experiential learning opportunities, and personal goal setting. Her primary focuses are building leadership capacity, creating a sense of community for all stakeholders, cross-disciplinary literacy, and emphasizing campus-wide Social Emotional Learning and a sense of belonging.
