    Ms. Angelica Kaegi was born and raised in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. Her family moved to Texas, where she attended Centennial High School for her senior year. After graduating, she attended Bethel College in Kansas and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education.

    Shortly after graduating, Kaegi began working in education, serving students in Garland ISD, Irving ISD, France, and Dallas ISD. Over the years, she has served in different capacities in different parts of north Texas. She has served as a general education teacher, bilingual teacher, TAG teacher, newcomer program coordinator, and interpreter for CPS.

    After graduating from Texas A&M Commerce with a master's in educational administration, Kaegi served as an assistant principal for Dallas ISD at Donald Leardership Academy, John Neely Bryan Elementary, and G.W. Truett Elementary where she supported the implementation of Innovation Leadership Academy, Novel Engineering, and ACE campus.

    Ms. Kaegi believes in the importance of having a school community that supports one another in the efforts of becoming our best selves in order to serve our students.

    La Sra. Angélica Kaegi nació y creció en San Pedro Sula, Honduras. Su familia se mudó a Texas, donde asistió a Centennial High School en su último año. Después de graduarse, asistió a Bethel College en Kansas y se graduó con una licenciatura en Educación Primaria.
     
    Poco después de graduarse, comenzó a trabajar en educación sirviendo a estudiantes en Garland ISD, Irving ISD, Francia y Dallas ISD. A lo largo de los años, se ha desempeñado en diferentes       capacidades en diferentes partes del norte de Texas. Se ha desempeñado como maestra de educación general, maestra bilingüe, maestra de TAG, coordinadora del programa para recién llegados e intérprete para CPS.
     
    Después de graduarse de Texas A&M Commerce con una maestría en administración educativa, se desempeñó como subdirectora de DISD en Donald Leadership Academy, John Neely Bryan Elementary y G.W. Truett Elementary, donde ha apoyado la implementación de una Academia de Liderazgo de Innovación, Ingeniería Novel y campus ACE. 
     
    La Sra. Kaegi cree en la importancia de tener una comunidad escolar que se apoye mutuamente en los esfuerzos por convertirnos en lo mejor de nosotros mismos para servir a nuestros estudiantes.
