  • Application Training & Support (ATS) serves as the training implementation mechanism for districtwide rollout of system updates such as Oracle and new software implementation such as PowerSchool, Unified Classroom, Office 365, Lync, SharePoint, etc.
     
    The ATS Department supports the district's technology initiatives through the following services:
    • Providing instructor-led training (ILT) such as hands-on computer application courses and end user support to school staff, administrators, professional staff, support staff, and clerical support staff for PowerSchool, Unified Classroom, and Oracle financial (payroll, purchasing and biometric clock functions).
     
    • Developing custom training (CT) tailored to users or departments in order to meet specific business needs. Customized sessions can be designed for a large group environment, a small class setting or on a one-to-one basis. Content, class sizes, training length or other factors will be adjusted as needed to meet training goals.
     
    • Creating and maintaining end-user documentation for all components of district-adopted applications.
     
    • Collaborating with Microsoft to provide additional training resources such as the Microsoft IT Academy and Office 365 tutorials to include self-paced web-based training, documentation and videos.
