DANCE

Overview of Program

Dance is available to all Dallas ISD secondary students as well as some elementary programs. The Dance Company at each campus is an audition-only ensemble group that performs at the school and community events such as the Annual Dallas ISD Dance Festival. High school dance students may engage in extensive dance programming in all genres of dance. Some campuses also offer formal Ballet Folklorico and African Diasporic dance ensembles.

The Dallas ISD dance educators are devoted to providing a high-quality teaching environment that prepares students to pursue their goals. Whether becoming a dancer in college or using their skills in leadership and collaboration, we prepare them for their own path to success.
