    Educational Philosophy

    I believe every child is essentially a unique human being.  In order to awaken each child’s potential, I will guide teachers as they implement differentiated instruction at all grade levels. Students need a structured environment that encourages them to become explorers. In addition, the learning environment should ensure learning is concrete and memorable by allowing students to use all five senses. My goal is to create a school that fosters lifelong learners.

    Eladio R Martinez Learning Center today announced that it has been named to the 2017 - 2018 Educational Results Partnership Honor Roll for its high achievement and student success. The program, sponsored by the Institute for Productivity in Education (IPE), is part of a national effort to identify higher-performing schools and districts that are improving student outcomes.

  • Reginal Day School Program for the Deaf

    Eladio R Martinez Learning Center would like to thank the Special Education Department for hosting the Reginal Day School Program for the Deaf. We are thankful for your generosity. Your personal commitment and belief in our future leaders is inspirational. A special thank you to our own Martinez Eagle, Mrs. Dunn, for helping spearhead the event.

  • Youth Leadership

    One in every 4 kids in North Texas is food insecure. That's why NTFB seeks innovative and effective solutions to feed hungry children in our community. Through their Child Programs, they work with schools and social service programs to distribute and serve nutritious foods to kids in need throughout the school year and the summer months. In supporting this mission statement, our Leadership Group have set the standard for excellence. We are so proud of their outstanding dedication to community service!

    The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Series campaign is working with thousands of schools across the country to raise funds for blood cancer research. They are saving lives of blood cancer patients not someday, but today.

  • Hispanic Heritage Month Spotlight: Cesar Chavez

    Cesar Chavez was a prominent union leader and labor organizer who was dedicated to improving the treatment for farm workers. Chavez helped found the National Farm Workers Association, and he is the namesake of the Cesar Chavez Learning Center located at 1710 N. Carroll Ave.
