Culinary Arts Cluster
Culinary Arts students should have an interest in preparing and serving food. They should be able to work well together and follow directions.
All students will learn safety and sanitation skills as required by the Dallas Health Code.
They must practice high sanitation standards in personal grooming and hygiene. They must practice safety standards in food preparation, service, and clean-up tasks in food service establishments.
The kitchen/lab is furnished with modern commercial food preparation and service equipment which students learn to use.
The cluster has its own campus restaurant which serves scheduled lunches and for special events.
