    What is Stars on the Rise?
    In 1982, the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce began the Stars on the Rise (SOTR) scholarship program. Since its inception, more than $10 million dollars have been awarded to more than 3,000 students entering and/or continuing college.

    Who do I submit funds to?
    Submit all SOTR funds and pledge forms to your department or campus campaign coordinator or administrative assistant. Stars on the Rise Campus Collection Process for Office Managers & Financial Clerks

    What ways can I submit funds?
    1. Payroll Deductions via Oracle (Instructions)
      The use of Oracle Employee Self Service is encouraged for payroll deduction gifts. No paperwork is required.
    2. Paper Pledge Form
      Pledge forms will be provided for staff who does not want to use Oracle. Staff can complete a pledge form to give via payroll deduction, cash, check or money order. Pledge form need to be signed by the donor. All pledge forms from a campus or department need to be collected and tallied and placed in the white reporting envelope with a tally sheet (pdf format).
