Dallas ISD Health Services

CPR/AED Training

  • CPR/AED/Mandates program offers American Heart Association First Aid/CPR/AED certification trainings for:

    • Heartsaver Instructor and Participant
    • Basic Life Support(BLS) for Health Care Providers (HCP) Instructor and BLS Participant (select groups)

Trainings are open to all Dallas ISD employees who are required to maintain CPR certification and to all who are interested in learning basic First Aid/CPR/AED skills.

Learning CPR helps equip employees to act quickly in an emergency situation at work or at home. Valuable first aid skills are also taught. For every minute that passes before a cardiac arrest victim is defibrillated, the chance of survival falls by as much as 10 percent. Your FA/CPR/AED skills may save a life.

We also track and monitor more than 600+ AED units within Dallas ISD. We provide all AED related services to these units at locations throughout the District.

CPR/AED/Mandates Program provides certification training to Health Services' personnel to carry out state mandated health screenings of students.
