Q: What is the cost of the course?
A: There is no cost to Dallas ISD employees.
Q: When and where are the courses held?
A: CPR training occurs at:

Q: What are the training times for the courses?
A: 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM AHA Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED
8:00 AM - 4:00 PM AHA Heartsaver Instructor Course
Training's are usually scheduled on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays.
** Please note trainings begin promptly at 8:00 AM. Late arrivals will not be certified **
Q: Who do I contact if I am interested in becoming a CPR Instructor or getting certified
in CPR?
A: Email cpr@dallasisd.org for information and instructions. If interested in becoming a CPR Instructor,
see prerequisites and contact Kenneth Forbes RN, Health Services, at kforbes@dallasisd.org.
Q: How and where do I register for a CPR or CPR Instructor class?
A: Registration takes place in CMS/LMS. Log in, selecet learning/calendar, place "cpr" in title and scroll
to month/class desired and click on class to enroll. CMS/LMS CPR Learning Calendar
Q: How many people can I train once I become an instructor?
A: A maximum of six persons can be trained per class at the campus or facility level.
Q: Can I train people outside of Dallas ISD?
A: You can only train employees and students of Dallas ISD.
Q: We are not on a campus. Who do we contact to arrange First Aid/CPR/AED training at
our facility?
A: Contact Kenneth Forbes RN, Health Services, at kforbes@dallasisd.org.
Q: I have questions about checking AEDs on my campus/facility. Who do I contact?
