 Henry Cofer comes to us with several years of teaching and coaching experience with well over 17 years totaling from high school to the collegiate level.  Most recently, Coach Cofer was the Assistant Head Coach/Defensive Coordinator at Tarleton State University located in Stephenville, Texas.  While at Tarleton, the Texans went 55-32 and won 3 Lone Star Conference Championships and National Playoff’s appearances in the 9 seasons of service for Coach Cofer. Henry as mentored and coached players who were tabbed as All-Conference, All-Americans, as well as NFL Drafted/Free-Agent Signees while at Tarleton.  In addition, Coach Cofer served as a coordinator at the High School level in the Central Texas area for over 8 years (Austin Johnston High School and Pflugerville High School).  While assisting in establishing leadership programs throughout his time in Austin, Coach Cofer was very well received in the community as a great leader and constant professional at the high school level.  As a native of Dallas, Henry was a standout two sport athlete (football/basketball) at Justin F. Kimball High School where he signed with the University of Arizona in the spring 1992.  Henry went on to finish a great career at the National Recognized University of Sam Houston State, where he graduated with a BS of Kinesiology/Health.  Coach Cofer went on to receive his Masters of Education, while coaching at Tarleton State
