Esperanza "Hope" Medrano Elementary School opened its doors in August 2000. The school sits on 9.8 acre in the Oak Lawn area of Dallas and was built to accommodate the population growth. Named after the matriarch of the prominent Medrano family of Dallas, Esperanza "Hope" Medrano Elementary School is the legacy of it's namesake's ideals. Mrs. Medrano valued education and believed that everyone must contribute to make a better future. The values instilled in students at our campus echo Mrs. Medrano's beliefs and push students to excel academically.
