Mrs. Gomez has 2 years of professional teaching experience and 18 years of experience as a bilingual teacher assistant.  Mrs. Gomez was hand picked as the start up team for Joe May.  Mrs. Gomez graduated with a Bachelors Degree from Cd. Victoria Tamaulipas, México.  She is working towards becoming a certified bilingual teacher in Texas.  She enjoys helping students to read and has a proven track record with interventions, including Dyslexia support.  Mrs. Gomez has two boys, who are both in college.  When not at school she enjoys cooking, going for walks, lisenting to music and working around her house.

Mrs. Gomez also serves as a parent liaison at Joe May and works closely with the administration team.  She also serves as a master Teacher Assistant working with developing talent with new Teacher Assistants.  Her creativity can be seen throughout the campus, and her colleagues look to her for creative and educational support.
