Junior ROTC Cadet Creed
I am an Army Junior ROTC Cadet. I will always conduct myself to bring credit to my family, country, school, and the Corps of Cadets.
I am loyal and patriotic. I am the future of the United States of America.
I do not lie, cheat, or steal and will always be accountable for my actions and deeds.
I will always practice good citizenship and patriotism.
I will work hard to improve my mind and strengthen my body.
I will seek the mantle of leadership and stand prepared to uphold the Constitution and the American way of life.
May god grant me the strength to live by this creed.
Attitude
"The longer i live, the more i realize the importance of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, then money, than circumstances, than failure, than success, than what other people think, or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a school... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past, we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one thing we have, and this is our attitude.... I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And, so it with you.... We are in charge of our Attitude."
