I am originally from Pine Bluff, AR where I grew up as the youngest of 11. I decided that I wanted to teach when I was in 5th grade and I have not looked back. I met my husband on the first day of school in 7th grade and we have 4 children. I enjoy reading and all things food. I have recently become interested in preserving the traditions of my ancestors and have begun learning to can and make jams and jellies. My next voyage into preserving tradition is quilting (wish me luck).
