MS CHAMPS formerly AIMS, is designed for over-age 8th grade students  to gain high school credits while completing their middle school requirements. Participating students can enter high school with up to 4.5 high school credits. The MS CHAMPS program allows students the opportunity to engage in a blended learning environment by using the online curriculum provided by Apex Learning. The program follows the model of a school-within-a-school environment where staff collaborate to address the educational needs of the student. The teacher acts as the team lead and serves as the liaison and advocate between campus administration and the Districtwide Student Initiatives staff.
