About Ms. Hullett ~ Acerca de la Sra. Hullett

I have been an educator for the last 26 years.  I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade.  I have an undergraduate degree in reading education but prefer to teach math and science.  However, I have dreamed of becoming a librarian for the last 15 years. So I decided to return to college and get a Master’s degree in Library Science. My goal as a librarian is to instill a love of reading to all the Wolfpack members that grace the door of John Ireland’s magical library!  

I grew up in Dallas and have a beautiful daughter that is attending Texas A&M University, Commerce.  I am  an avid scrapbooker/card maker, and a major Disney/Mickey Mouse fanatic!  I look forward to a wonderful year in the library filled with fun and lots of reading.  

Yo he sido educadora durante los últimos 26 años. He enseñado 1º, 2º, 3º, 4º y 5º grado. Tengo una licenciatura en Enseñanza de la Lectura, aunque prefiero enseñar matemáticas y ciencias. Sin embargo, he soñado con llegar a ser una bibliotecaria desde hace 15 años, así que decidí regresar a la Universidad y obtener mi maestría en Bibliotecología. ¡Mi meta como bibliotecaria es infundir el amor a la lectura a todos los pequeñines que crucen la puerta mágica de la biblioteca de John Ireland!

Crecí en la ciudad de Dallas y tengo una hermosa hija que asiste a la Universidad Texas A&M, Commerce. Me apasiona hacer libros de recortes de fotografías y tarjetas, y soy fanática de Disney y de Mickey Mouse. ¡Espero tener con ustedes un año maravilloso en la biblioteca, lleno de diversión y mucha lectura!
