• Dallas ISD Food and Child Nutrition Services participates in USDA's Community Eligibility Provision, which allows the district to offer nutritious school meals to all students through the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program at no charge, regardless of family income. 

    Dallas ISD also participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program's At-Risk Afterschool Meals Program, which provides no-cost supper or holiday meals for children 18 years and under participating in afterschool education or enrichment activities. In addition, the district participates in the Seamless Summer Option program, which provides meals at qualifying schools, park sites, and recreation centers over the summer vacation.
