My name is Jose Lopez. I am originally from San Luis Potosi, Mexico and grew up here in Dallas. I also attended DISD and RISD schools which I am proud to say paved the way for my professional success. I received my Doctoral degree from Texas A&M Commerce. I have spent majority of my School Counseling career in DISD Schools. I’ve served as a school counselor at both the elementary and secondary school levels. My role as a school counselor has truly been rewarding and I’m excited to be working with students, teachers, the administrative team, and parents who are vested in educational success. My belief is to always encourage all students to strive to achieve their goals.
