    Ms. Chapa graduated from UNT Dallas and is currently completing her master's in curriculum in education. Ms. Chapa has been in Dallas ISD since 1995. Ms. Chapa was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She resides in Duncanville with her family. She has two daughters who have both graduated from OLLU in San Antonio, Texas. She started teaching at Preston Hollow in 2020. Previously she had been a community liaison for many years.

    Coach McLendon received his Bachelors Degree in Pedagogical Kinesiology from the University of Texas at Arlington in May of 2010.  He began teaching Elementary Physical Education in the fall of 2010.  Coach McLendon has served in a variety of positions throughout his career including: Campus Athletic Coordinator, High School Basketball Coach, Campus Safety Coordinator, Grade Level Chair, and Campus Testing Coordinator   

    Upon completion of his Masters Degree in Educational Leadership in Policy Studies in 2015, he joined Preston Hollow Elementary School and has been teaching our Pre-K through 5th grade students ever since!  Coach McLendon received an Exemplary Distinction from the Texas Education Agency in September of 2020.

    Ms. Morton has been providing speech therapy in the public school setting since 1998. She has been in Dallas ISD since 2013 and joined Preston Hollow in 2019. Throughout her service, she has had multiple roles such as district-wide evaluator, campus therapist at the elementary and high school levels, supervisor of graduate students and supervisor of Clinical Fellows. Ms. Morton received her BS from UT Austin and received her MS from UTD, the Callier Center.  She loves working with children with special needs, spending time with her own three children, playing with her Golden Retriever Lola, and being at the lake.
