Mission Statement
Thomas C. Marsh Preparatory Academy prepares scholars to gain college admittance in order to cultivate informed and engaged global citizens that positively impact their community, country, and the world.
Marsh Core Values
Growth Mindset
Administrators and teachers collaborate with their colleagues and instructional leaders rather than shut their doors and fly solo. They strive to strengthen their own practice, accept honest feedback, and truly believe that all students and staff can learn and succeed.
Respect
Respectful schools are democratically informed learning environments where people feel safe, supported, engaged, and helpfully challenged. Respect doesn't happen in isolation; it's based in relationships.
Perseverance
Perseverance is steadfastness in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success. Staff will reframe problems and failures in a positive perspective to push our students' learning threshold.
Civic Engagement
Civic engagement means working to make a difference in our communities and developing the combination of democratic values, knowledge, skills, and motivation to make a difference. Marsh has a responsibility to positively impact and contribute to our community.
