Mrs. Clark is thrilled to join the Harllee family this year! Mrs. Clark grew up in Garland, TX (a suburb of Dallas). Prior to earning her degree from Dallas Baptist University, she worked for a special needs ministry in South Dallas & Pleasant Grove. She then received her Bachelors in Elementary Education and Master of Education in Special Education, graduating in December 2019. She started teaching January of 2020 in a 1st-5th grade Functional Living Skills unit in Dallas ISD, just two months before the start of the pandemic. Mrs. Clark believes that all students deserve an equitable, differentiated education and knows that ALL students can succeed. She's very excited to start a new position at a new school! She's passionate about the special needs community, literacy, equity, and justice. In her free time, she loves to read, spend time with her cat & dog, & spend time with her husband! Her & Mr. Clark are also very excited to be expecting their first child, a baby BOY, at the end of this year! 👶🏽💛
