What is Site-Based Decision Making (SBDM)?
The Site Based Decision Making is the common sense approach to developing and maintaining effective schools. Parents, teachers, staff and community organizations, and the principal meet regularly to discuss matters such as the school calendar, daily schedules, discipline policy, and grading policy in addition to reviewing the school performance and establishing academic and other performance objectives for each excellence indicator.Who serves on our SBDM Committee?

• Students (where appropriate)
• Community Members
• Business RepresentativesWhat does the SBDM Committee do?
In accordance with the administrative procedures established under Section 11.251 (b), the campus-level committee shall be involved in decisions in the areas of:
• Planning
• Budgeting
• Curriculum
• Staffing Patterns
• Staff Development
