The 70,000-square-foot plus renovation project for Franklin Roosevelt High School will transform the 58-year-old Oak Cliff campus into a state-of-the-art learning complex to support 21st-century learners.  The project includes demolition of 75% of the existing campus, extensive renovations to the original buildings, and building additions that include:

• a fine arts addition that doubles as a storm shelter
• competition gym addition
• restaurant and storage space to support the culinary arts program
• a library/media addition
• multi-classroom and career technical education spaces addition
• new cafeteria and kitchen addition
• interior and exterior renovations to the entire campus
• new main secured entry and administrative suite
• upgrades to outdoor athletic facilities
