Eddie Bernice Johnson Elementary School is the first Dallas elementary school built in Wilmer, Texas. Opened September 8, 2020, the school serves students in grades pre-K through fifth. The project is Dallas ISD’s first brand new school since 2015 and is being constructed as part of the 2015 Bond Program. The 83,720-square-foot campus will include an administrative area, media/library, art and music classrooms, gymnasium, dining/stage, central plant, playgrounds, and parking.
