We're ready to make a difference-2021-2022 Dallas ISD Employee Giving Campaign
For two decades the Dallas Independent School District has partnered with the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas (UWMD) to power the district’s employee giving campaign, raising over $5 million to date. This campaign has become a highly anticipated annual tradition because it gives our staff the opportunity to support an organization that invest in a wide range of programs that give our students and families a strong start, access to quality out-of-school time and support for pathways through high school to college and career.
UWMD supports over 200 philanthropic groups that believe education, income and health form the foundation upon which opportunity is built. One of these groups is the Dallas Education Foundation (DEF), a nonprofit partner of Dallas ISD whose work aligns with the district’s strategic initiatives. The DEF partners with our city’s business leaders, residents and philanthropic community to raise funds for programs that enrich the lives of our students. This year, the district has selected DEF as the charity of choice under the United Way Employee Giving Campaign. We are asking that all Dallas ISD employees make a donation to reach this year’s $150,000 campaign goal.
