    Returning Students:

    If you have a district laptop you used last year, and you get a message that your password has been changed or expired, you need to update it by going to http://password.dallasid.org on another device, login with your student ID and the default password Disd$2021, and from there create a new password. Then try to login to your laptop.

    Once you logged in as Student to http://password.dallasid.org, you can set up your recovery email in case you forget your password. Go to View Profile, visit Communications tab, and enter Recovery email that is not a Disd email.


    Incoming Freshmen:

    First check that your district password is working -- login with your student ID and current password at http://password.dallasisd.org. If it’s not working, be sure to try the initial default, Disd$2021.

    Before school starts, your Macbook laptop must be connected to the DISDWIFI Network to join the DISD Domain. That can be done next to a district location, such as any DISD school parking lot that is close to your home.

    If you still can’t login, drive to the District Admin building at 9400 Central Expressway, speak with an IT technician, and have them assist you.
