Dallas County Promise
What is the Dallas County Promise?
Through the Dallas County Promise participating colleges provide "last-dollar scholarships" to students who graduate from one of the 57 Promise high schools with a high school diploma or associate's degree. The Promise scholarship covers the gap between need-based financial aid and the cost of tuition for a time limit or the completion of a degree per institution.

Additional Scholarship Opportunities
Dallas College Rising Star: If you are a graduating senior with an unweighted GPA of 3.0 by your seventh semester (Fall 2020), you will also receive the Rising Star Scholarship if you attend Dallas College. Rising Star is the last-dollar scholarship that covers any remaining balance that financial aid does not cover AND your textbooks.
***Students who miss the February 5, 2021 deadline to submit the Promise Pledge will not be eligible to receive the Promise or Rising Star scholarship***
