Lorenzo De Zavala Elementary School is receiving a $5.2 million renovations to its West Dallas campus. Renovations consist of the following exterior and interior work:

• Create secure front entrance and vestibule
• Replace vinyl composition tile floors
• Replace Ceiling tiles
• Replace interior classroom fluorescent lighting with LED lights
• Install new fire alarm and camera security systems
• Install new modified bitumen roof
• Install HVAC rooftop units
• Paint and repair broken stucco
• Paint exterior doors and window frames
• Install new electronic marquee sign
• Install new plaza with graphic letters
