The Great James Madison High School is receiving a $35 million makeover that includes renovations and additions to the historic South Dallas campus.  The scope of project include:

• New competition gym and locker rooms addition that will serve as a storm shelter
• New Parking Lot
• New Tennis Courts
• Upgrades to the football field including new track and turf
• Upgrades to the retaining walls
• Clean, repair and replace sealants on exterior masonry
• Renovations to the band hall
• Renovations to existing locker room, laundry room, and athletic support facilities
• Renovation to existing gym floor
• Drainage improvements
