Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Annie Pardee
Ms. Pardee grew up in a small country town in Louisiana, where she graduated high school. After high school she obtained her medical degrees. She spent the next 13 years working with children and adults with special needs in a variety of different environments. This allowed her the wonderful opportunity to travel across the nation. After 13 years working and teaching in the medical field, she took a job working as an instructional aide in a special needs classroom. It was at that point she made the decision to change professions. She worked hard and studied harder. She graduated from Texas Tech University with her bachelor's in special education. After graduation, she took a position with Dallas ISD. She taught in a self contained classroom for children with Autism for the following 5 years. During that time, she continued her education and obtained a Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and special education. Last year she was awarded teacher of year at the campus level. This award came as a huge surprise to Ms. Pardee, she was honored and brought to tears that her peers thought so highly of her dedication and work. She dedicated her award to the hard-work and commitment for her young leaders, their families, and her fellow teachers; without which she wouldn’t be the teacher she is today.
In her spare time, Ms. Pardee loves to work on do-it-yourself projects, playing with her animals, and traveling. Ms. Pardee loves creating and crafting new items for her classroom and her young leaders. She is dedicated to the individualized success of all her young leaders. She has been quoted multiple times saying, “It’s not a question of whether or not my students can learn, it’s a question of whether or not I’m equipped to teach them.” She is devoted and determined to continue to equip herself and her peers with the tools needed to guide every young leader to achieve their own personal success. Ms. Pardee is a known advocate to leave NO child behind, to bridge gaps, and to educate the leaders of tomorrow in a loving and supportive environment through self-awareness, self-discovery, and individualized instruction that isn’t a one-size fits all!
