Mrs. Erica Campos
Mrs. Erica Campos is a Dallas native and Dallas ISD student through her elementary, middle and high school education. The daughter of immigrants, she is proud to be the first in her family to obtain a Bachelor’s degree from Northwood University in 2004 and Master's degree from Texas Woman's University.
Mrs. Campos began her educational career in 2006 with Dallas ISD as a bilingual teacher for 2nd and 3rd grade. In 2016 she began her journey as a school librarian at TWU and completed her Master’s program in 2018. During that time Mrs. Campos joined the Solar Preparatory Girls team as the librarian and co-makerspace teacher. She is grateful for all of the growth opportunities Solar Prep has provided. Mrs. Campos will transition to the Gifted & Talented program for the 2020-2021 school year and looks forward to learning, growing and exploring alongside her students.
Mrs. Campos is a lifelong learner and loves to read. She hopes to encourage the love of reading and curiosity in her students through books and library.

La Sra. Erica Campos es nativa de Dallas y estudiante de DallasISD a través de su educación primaria, intermedia y secundaria. Hija de inmigrantes, se enorgullece de ser la primera en su familia en obtener una licenciatura de la Universidad de Northwood en 2004 y una maestría de Texas Woman's University.
La Sra. Campos comenzó su carrera educativa en 2006 con DallasISD como maestra bilingüe de segundo y tercer grado. En 2016, comenzó su viaje como bibliotecaria escolar en TWU y completó su programa de maestría en 2018. Durante ese tiempo, la Sra. Campos se unió al equipo de Solar Preparatory Girls como bibliotecaria y maestra del "makerspace." Ella está agradecida por todas las oportunidades de crecimiento que ha brindado Solar Prep. La Sra. Campos hará la transición al programa para Dotados y Talentosos para el año escolar 2020-2021 y espera aprender, crecer y explorar junto con sus estudiantes.
La Sra. Campos es una aprendiz de por vida y le encanta leer. Espera fomentar el amor por la lectura y la curiosidad en sus alumnos a través de libros y biblioteca.
