Goal:  Ensure that each student with a disability has an updated IEP that is implemented according to the decisions made by the student’s Admission, Review and Dismissal (ARD) Committee.  

The Special Education Case Manager documents and monitors the progress of each student assessed with a documented learning disability to ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations.  The Case Manager acts as an advocate for each student assigned to the case load to ensure that the ARD/IEP decisions are implemented and all services are provided.  Additionally, The Case Manager serves as a point of contact for parents, campus staff, and district personnel as well as serving as a resource for general education teachers.
