Our Amazing Counselors
Welcome to W.E. Greiner Exploratory Arts Academy! I am Ms. Keiron Jingles, your game-changing 6th grade Counselor. I was born & raised in Ft. Worth, Texas. I attended the University of Texas at Arlington (undergrad) & Lamar University (graduate). Before becoming a Counselor, I taught 6th grade Science here at Greiner for 5 years. This is my second year as the 6th grade Counselor and I absolutely love my job and the students I am blessed to interact with every day. One of my main goals is to build relationships with my students, teachers, and families that says “I’m here to help. I support you. I believe in you. You’ve got this! Let’s work together toward the common goal of student success.” I have one adult son. I enjoy reading self-improvement books, developing my Spanish-speaking skills, spending time with family, and learning the latest dance moves from my students.

I have also worked as an Early Intervention Teacher in Clayton County , Georgia. and I come to you with over 25 years of experience. I have had the privilege of being nominated for teacher of the year and counselor of the year.
My goal and my passion have always been to serve the community and guide our students to remain solution focused as they develop a growth mindset and move towards college and career readiness in this ever-changing world. Middle school is a milestone that every student must complete as they start their journey, and I am honored to be a part of this process. My goal as a counselor is always to inspire relationships and advise students as they continue their path toward academic achievement.
7th Grade Counselor
My name is Ms. Rebecca Ramirez. I am your Lead Counselor and will proudly be serving the 8th grade class for the 22-23 school year. I was born and raised in Laredo, Texas, a border city so unique and rich in culture that made me who I am today. I began my passion for working with the youth as young as 18 years old. I started exploring my passion by being a summer camp counselor for 4 years. I decided to get my bachelor's degree in English and minor in Psychology from Texas A&M University in College Station. Once I graduated, I came back home to Laredo, where I began my teaching career at Lyndon B. Johnson High School. I taught 9th grade English I for 3 years while simultaneously obtaining my master's degree in School Counseling from Texas A&M International University. During the pandemic in May of 2020, I earned my master's degree and applied all over Texas to begin my career in counseling. Dallas ISD has been my home for the past 3 years. I am overjoyed to work with your students as they navigate through the challenges and joys that come with furthering their education. Your students know my door is always open to them and the same goes to you, parents/ guardians!
Please feel free to call or email me. I am always happy to assist you.
I am very excited to have a fantastic school year! Go Yellowjackets!
